I have recommended Benfield Ford, Leeds & will continue to do so to all my friends and acquaintances.
I have dealt with Benfield Ford for the past 11 years with break of 3 years between (when I thought I would try a different make car) I was sorry I took this break as I missed the 1st class customer service from each person I came into contact with at Benfield Ford.
In my experience Benfield Ford treat each individual customer with special care and the people I have recommended to Benfield Ford are also of the same opinion. I will not be having any breaks away from them again.
They are truly 1st class at what they do from the Sales People Reception Staff through to the Mechanics and I highly recommended them to anyone reading this review.

even though the show room was being refitted i was made a where off the disruption well in advance the only thing that could be a problem is the parking after all i`m a wheelchair user so need to get close to the building

Thanks for the feedback. On a daily basis we do make every effort to keep spaces free outside the main entrance; however should these be full, please just park up safely where it is convenient for you, approach a member of staff and we will move your vehicle to a suitable area and bring it to the front door for you when you are ready to leave.
Recently bought the new Ford fiesta zetec from benfield ford, York Road leeds. The service we received was excellent, the staff were friendly and worked around our financial needs. Would definitely recommend all my friends and family to benfield ford and buying the new Ford fiesta.
I am very pleased with the service I receive from Benfield,York Road leeds and as a result I did recommend you to my father who purchased a Fiesta from your kirks tall road branch. Everyone is very courteous and always offer a drink if you have to wait any length of time.the emphasis on after care service is excellent and the fact that you pick up and return cars to homes after they have been serviced is a real boom to my elderly father. Oh and your cars are pretty good too.....like the idea of the Eco boost for saving on fuel,tax and insurance.
Found exact what we were looking for with very helpful staff working hard to find us a deal we could afford.

Having been a previous customer of benfield twice before was disappointed 3rd time round, we weren't asked our needs or requirements by the sales advisor and felt that we were being pushed to buy a car that wasn't suitable for us. When we did find one we wanted we were not offered any incentives that we had been offered before on a previous sale and then we had agreed a price only to be told that the sales manager had not authorised it so would have to increase it again. Felt that we could have been given better service as buying a car is not something we do every day, and was a lot of money to us. Sales assistant was polite and friendly, we just felt a bit under valued as repeat customers

Really good experience, friendly sales assistant, did not feel pressured or rushed into making a decision. Was given lots of information and advice on finance options. I am highly likely to recommend Benfield Ford to my family and friends.

I'm very happy with my new car . This is the third car I've bought from you and the salesman and after care team cannot be faulted . All I have spoken with have been friendly polite and very helpful. We have now purchased at least six cars from Benfield and would certainly have no hesitation in recommending the service provided to family and friends. After sales service is equally as good.
The staff were really polite and friendly. They did everything they said they would do, when they said they would do it. We didnt feel rushed into making a decision, they seemed happy to spend as much time as we needed to ensure everything was right and we were happy with the deal we got. Would highly recommend them.
I was happy with the service on the day of purchase and thought I'd got the new car (a Ka Edge) for a good price. I had been told that if I went for a red one the car was in stock, and so looked forward to receiving it within the week. Unfortunately within a few days it became clear that there was no car in stock (it is still being built!) and at the moment they are not sure when I will actually receive it. They have given me a loan car at the moment as a compromise, but really just want the car I had been promised!

Thanks for your feedback. I have discussed the details with Lee Hopkins, our Sales Manager. When you placed your order for the red Ka, the Ford system was showing this vehicle as delivered and in stock at our Sunderland branch. This information system is updated by the manufacturer and in this instance it was not displaying accurate details - we can only apologise for this. I know Lee Hopkins has given you a new Ford Ka in the interim period and we will, of course, continue to actively progress your new vehicle delivery. Apologies again for any inconvenience this has caused.

I never knew that buying a new car from Benfield Ford could be so much fun, it was a positive experience that I have recommend to my friends and family.
Fantastic service from start to finish, the sales representative, Lee, was brilliant. He always made me feel as if I was in control not once did he try and push me to buy extras if I said no I didn't want them. I felt a bit daunted with the whole car buying experience prior to going to Benfield Ford on York Road, however that soon changed after Lee put me at total ease. I have already recommended him to friends and work colleagues and will continue to do so. Brilliant hassle free service and a great car purchased too.
I would certainly recommend Benfield Ford to my family members and friends, I have been with Benfield Ford now for a number of years and find the Sales People very friendly and very helpful and so too are the mechanics in the workshops.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to give you my experience . The sales rep Lee was in my opinion let down by other members of the " team " When the rep has handed over a car to a customer he/she should be confident that the car is 100% . I had the misfortune of having no windscreen washer , which I checked prior to leaving the garage . I had to wait in reception for 30mins till the fault was rectified . In my opinion this should never have happened as it had been Mot'd by Benfield that day .I felt that Lee was taking the rap for someone else's mistake. I was tried to be palmed off with excuses such the fuse may JUST have gone , sorry I do not accept this .Their should be a comprehensive report handed over to the customer with ticks in the relevant boxes to identify what has been checked and not just ASSUME it should work .

We are sorry your handover did not go according to plan. After speaking with our Sales and Service Managers I have been assured that as part of the MOT the front washers were inspected on the day and given a clean bill of health. It is really unfortunate that the washer fuse failed when it did but we hope you appreciate this can happen at any time and is beyond our control. We can only apologise again for the inconvenience this caused you.
Hi Val, thanks for your reply to my experience . Right then I am not going to labour on about this , but it does NOT take the time I was waiting to CHANGE a fuse . Your mechanics know as well as I do there is not much that can go wrong with the washers ,fuse, motor, disconnected water tube . You stated in your response it was the fuse , MAYBE . Its still unacceptable the time I was left waiting and after further questions to the driver who took me there it was more like an hour . Its only my opinion that the car was NOT given the appropriate checks prior to release . There should be a check sheet handed over to the buyer with a list of all the parts that have been checked, and this should have the date, name printed, and signed by the inspector/mechanic .This is suggestion which could work if put into practice .
Hello again Mr Macrorie and thanks for your reply. I can understand the frustration that the sequence of events may have marred the pleasure of picking up your vehicle. You are right in saying that a fuse only takes a short time to replace but we would have been negligent not to check the system to make sure there was no other fault apparent in causing the fuse to blow and this is what took the time. The checklist you suggest already exists. Prior to any used vehicle being displayed for sale, a Vehicle Health Check is completed by our technicians - this consists of a multi-point check which is dated and signed by the technician carrying out the inspection. This, alongside the MOT which was carried out on the day you collected your vehicle showed passes in all areas. Thanks again for taking the time to give us feedback.
