Friendly staff, excellent service and a relaxed atmosphere
The customer service from Benfield has always been first class.
A happy customer throughout the 1 year I have owned my Kia Sorento. Staff have been helpful and courteous at all times from all areas; sales, service and bodyshop.
Excellent service, friendly courteous staff
I've always rated Benfield, and have had a lot of cars through their various sites and franchises. Their staff have always been very friendly and easy to deal with - understanding the nerves of buying a new car and talking through all the details with accuracy and care. Their service departments have also been efficient and helpful, offering assistance where needed and always apologetic when the bills need to be paid!
Sales team were very helpful and guided me through everything I needed to know.
Can't wait to take delivery of our new Sportage.
Pleasant, helpful no pressure service.

I recommend Benfield skoda on Scotswood road very highly , their excellent sales staff made buying my car enjoyable, there was no pressure. The staff were very competent in there knowledge of their cars, they gave me good advice in which car would be best for my family needs.
I chose a Fabia estate which i absolutely love and have recommended to all my friends and family.
If I am entirely honest, we were ''just looking'' when we rocked up to Benfield Motors on Scotswood Road a fortnight ago. But having got our eye on a nice little Citreon C3 White, we were hooked. In little more than an hour the salesman (Dean) had given us the grand tour, and in less than 48 hours we had filled in all the paperwork and taken delivery of said motor...
It is running beautifully and we are very, very pleased with it.
As for recommending Benfield Motors to friends and relatives...I already have. Their friendly and pleasant manner, without being ''pushy'' is second to none, hence the 5 out of 5 in the ratings.
A first class service from sales team especially Fay Dellow who guided us through some complicated route to acquire our Skoda Fabia Elegance Estate, We love it!
Being our second Skoda we recommend them to all our friends and family members, many have bought them since.

Staff very helpful and excellent service all round - as always!
First I have say that the sportage is a fantastic car and I had decided to upgrade to a kx4 until this latest issue.
The level of service was good, the person I dealt with on the desk was very good, attentive and polite. HOWEVER...... The sportge was brought for a noise at the back end of the car, I suspected it to be suspension related. The noise was loud sudden but random and not repeatable The first time I left the car for a day nothing was found and the car given a clean bill of health. I took he car back as the noise was still there, if not worse and a mechanic came out on a drive with me. Nothing of note found by him but the car booked in for another check. Once again I brought the car in, and whilst waiting for a lift back I was informed of a recall on the car for the same type of issue. I checked on the Internet and discovered that this warning was issued to dealers some time ago. I called in the afternoon to be told that the car was not fixed and you would need th car for another day, leaving me to sort out alternative transport. I was told that the issue was related to the warning issue and that a bolt had snapped.
This should have been noted on my first visit and I consider this a serious potentially dangerous situation.
So far this car, which I have praised consistently has been back to you on a number of occasions. Benfield have damaged the paintwork when only a month old, the paintwork was repaired but a year later this repair required redoing and now you have been unable to discover a known safety issue which should have been picked up.
I may still upgrade but it is unlikely to be with be field.
I would suggest your processes are reviewed to attempt learn lessons from this incident.
I will put in a formal letter on the situation when time allows.

Thank you for your feedback. Our process for booking vehicles into the workshop includes a chassis check with the manufacturer for any outstanding campaigns 3 days before the vehicle arrives. Unfortunately at your 1st visit there were no outstanding campaigns showing against your chassis number. Intermittent faults are notoriously difficult to identify - ideally we like to carry out noise/fault tests accompanied by customers. As a result of your feedback we have reviewed our processes and we will be emailing a fault diagnosis log in advance of a visit in future. Despite our best efforts to ensure our customers are kept mobile, occasionally, as a result of circumstances beyond our control, this is not always possible and we are sorry you were left without alternative transport. Customer feedback is essential in helping us to provide outstanding customer service every time. We do hope we will see you again in the future to hopefully restore your faith in us. Our Sales Manager would welcome the opportunity to competitively quote on a replacement vehicle at your convenience. Thanks again for taking the time to give us feedback.
I would rather not correspond via this forum , so I will make this my last comment.
Again there are positives to be considered. Your overall customer service is very good and I acknowledge that replacement transport may not always be available.
My issue is the fault not being picked up at the time of my first visit. I have further researched this and found reference on KIA forum that the Sportage FE notice was issued to dealers circa 2011 which is why I am wondering why the issue was not picked up from the chassis number.

I received excellent attention, and was taken out to test drive the care I was interested in immediately.
Friendly staff throughout, and took delivery within a week.
Tax, free insurance for a week, and all paperwork completed.
Lovely car. Very pleased.
I think Benfield service is great especially as they collect and return your car for the service personally , especially as I have had an operation and have been unable to drive for a few weeks so this was a great help to me .
I visitied Benfield Skoda on a VIP weekend looking to purchase a new car but didn't really have a particular model in mind. My wife spotted a Fabia SE and we both liked it but I still wanted to see some other cars. Chris Arkley was the sales person seeing to us and was more than happy to show me a range of Skoda vehicles Yeti, Roomster etc to allow me to make up my mind. Chris was really attentive but not overpoweringly so he gave you the facts when asked to allow you to make a decision. I've already recommended Benfiled Skoda to two colleagues at work one for the excellent sales experience and two for the value for money that Skoda offers.

Staff were very courteous and friendly. Service reception area at time of visit a little haphazard due to ongoing building works.
Garage needs more car parking space for customers and could probably do with more availability of courtesy cars as my booking was put back a great deal due to needing one.
An "Online" service booking system running in conjunction with telephone bookings would be advantageous.
All round I was very pleased with standards of service and professionalism of the staff.

Servicing costs with Benfield are a real concern. I was hoping to buy a service plan with my new car but it was simply too expensive, in fact it was the most expensive compared like for like with Arnold Clark and Wylam Renault Garage. I doubt whether Benfield will be servicing my car unless they can offer more attractive and competitive prices. Here's an idea...How about lower prices than every other dealership! Now there's a challenge!

Easy to book service carried out on time and motor returned clean.They spotted an oil leak and I hope this will be rectified soon,good friendly service from start to finish ,long may it continue .My second Kia and happy with it.
I was really pleased with the customer service I received from Kia. Jamie was extremely personable and couldn't do enough to make sure that I was happy with my service. He arranged a taxi to take me home once I had dropped off the car and set up a service plan to make payments easier so I'm not hit with a large bill for the next few years. I received a phone call to tell me my car was ready before the time originally given. All in all, it was an easy experience and I have no problems recommending Kia to others.
Was very pleased with my purchase, sales man were very good, not pushy at all and flexible when negotiating a price, and i feel they gave me a good deal, just wish the customer service was a little better as they "lost the keys" to the new car and weren't very transparent about when the car would be ready, but apart from that I was very happy and would buy from Benfield skoda again

On the subject of the mislaid keys, a member of staff had put them in a "safe place" and, with this being our busiest time of year with many handovers taking place; it took us longer than we would have liked to locate them. The relevant Department have looked into why this occurred and we are sorry for the inconvenience this caused you.

Andrew at Kia Newcastle was very efficient, approachable and friendly. The car we purchased was fully prepared before the viewing, as was all the documentation. We were well looked after at the dealership, given a good test drive and offered plenty of time to look around the car. We were sorted from arrival to driving away in the new car in 1.5 hours. Brilliant service, that I would highly recommend to anyone considering purchasing a car from Benfields.

In the three years I've had a Skoda Yeti I've had polite, pro-active and competent service from Benfield. I mean this and do not say this merely to win an iPad!
Very concerned that the car I bought in November needing brake fluid changing. I was told the car would have a full service before I drove it away. I would have expected brake fluid to have been sorted out in a FULL service.

Thank you for your feedback. For information, the 10K service covers a basic oil and filter change only. Brake fluid is recommended every 2 years (in some cases changed in the 3rd year) but is not always required. Brake fluid is not part of the manufacturer's service but is chargeable at an extra cost.
