Friendly staff, easy to book in, good service all round.
The staff at Benfield Stoneygate Close are all so friendly and pleasant. They take the time to make sure you are comfortable whilst waiting for your car repair. My wife and myself feel we have got to know the staff there after only 3 visits. This experience is so different from any other garage and I already have recommended this branch to family and friends

i found the saleexperince very good,The salesman was helpfull and listened to what i was looking for and was able to show me cars that met my requirements.Then was able to get me a good deal,if the car is of the same quality as the sales experince then i am in for a happy driving time.
service was excellent michelle swaddle at gateshead branch was excellent with her service i would give her a rating of 10 out of 10 the only problem i would say was there was a delay in getting the car and i was supposed to get a letter from nissan about the problem but i did not recieve this letter but i did not put me off getting my new car that is realley good

I award 10/10/ for the service I recieived yesterday. My flasher glass was broken and I made an appointment last week when I was told the exact cost of fitting a replacement. I waited for the job to be done yesterday and as forecast, within about 45 minutes the car was ready, but as a bonus the bodywork had been washed and the interior mats hoovered! The staff are friendly and helpful and it is a pleasure to receive such service.

Our family have been customers of Benfield for many years and have bought numerous cars from them. The sales people are very polite, helpful and courteous, however, with regard to our recent purchase, last week, we found the sales manager to be very rude, ignorant and shallow. He slumped into the chair infront of us and proceeded to say that Benfield would not pay for the transfer of number plates.........that was not the issue, I had already paid for that at the DVLA office. He wanted us to pay £200 as a bond, against the log book of our part exchange, to ensure that we took the old log book to the garage, when the number plater transfer was compete. So much for trust in your customers!! Although it has now become company policy, on the day I agreed to purchase the car, there was no mention of the aforementioned £200, hence my reluctance to pay it......Private plate holders BEWARE!!! This conversation was brought to an abrupt end, when he jumped out of the chair and proceeded to walk away, shouting 'we cannot do anything else for you, we have done enough'!!! This man needs to remember who is paying his wages! The salesman, myself and my son were very embarrassed, as there were other customers in the showroom. The salesman apologised and got the general manager, who agreed to waiver the £200 (very kind of him eh?), but then instructed the salesman on the quiet, (I presume) to keep the spare key to our new car, until we produces the log book!..........AGAIN no trust in existing customers. I could not leave quick enough and I will NOT be going back.....Evans Halshaw for me, or another reputable garage. They have now lost themselves the sale of a new car for my daughter and a new car for myself, thanks to the attitude, rudeness and mistrust of the management at Benfield Gateshead. On a better note, the salesman Paul was very good, apologentic and kept me calm!!!!

Overall I was very pleased with benfield service today.
Excellent service from start to finish from the sales member of staff who iniated the sale to the manager who actually handed the car over to me very helpful and polite nothing was aproblem to either of them any queries answered immediately
being kept up to date on pricing is great, the warmth and welcome makes the whole expieriance worth it

I have just bought my car over the telephone, I was concerned what my car might be like, I was so surprised when my car was delivered to Glasgow...it was in perfect condition ! The sales staff were so helpful at Benfield, they explained everything in great detail....to be honest it was so easy that I will do the same thing when it is time to change again. Excellent service all round, car was delieverd when stated we were kept upto date with any developments. Customers service we recieved from Mr P Tarn was of the highest standard I have ever recieved.
I would recimend using Benfielf to friends, family and colleagues.
First class service, phone call and letter before service due to remind me and offer of loan car, or pick up and return, or lifts as needed. Car even washed and vacuumed.
I was very happy with the service I got for Michele and Keith from the service desk they are both very helpful and friendly I would highly recommend benfield to family are friend due to being comfortable and relaxed during the sale and not feeling pressed into anything Michele good out of her way to make sure you get what you want in car and Keith is alway very friendly and helpful on the service desk

I was extremely impressed with the member of staff that I dealt with - Paul Tairn ( I think that is how his name was spelt)
He was very approachable and was excellent at explaining the details I needed to know about the various models of car. He clearly detailed the variety of ways I could pay for the car and offered sensible advice. Lastly when I picked up the car he carefully demonstrated the mechanisms on the car which enabled me to drive the car immediately without any worries.

I had a small misunderstand due to the customer services, sending me to a different branch. However the staff at the branch were brilliant and help me find a new car which i loved. Overall a warm and friendly service and would recommend to others.

I found the staff at Benfield very friendly, approachable and really helpful. My car was ready to collect on time, even though my car was on a recall and there was no charge for the work carried out on my car I didnt feel I was treat any different to a paying customer.
Quite a pleasant and painless purchase.Hope this NOTE is as good as my last one! (Now to pay for it!!)
Further to call received about my experience for recent car service, I would rate the overall experience as good. However, I do want to raise a point of dissatisfaction with regards to when I phoned to book the service I was told that you would only need the car for half a day. I arrived as pre-arranged at 9.10am and was told by your Service desk representative that 'so you will be picking car up at 4.30pm', when I queried this I was told that you were very busy but if car was ready they would ring. I therefore had to change my plans accordingly, did not receive a phone call from Service department at all, when I rang at 3.45pm I was told to arrive at 4.30pm and car would be ready then. I think this situation/communication could be improved upon as people do have other plans/commitments.

Took my Nissan Juke to Benfield Gateshead for first service. I was given a curtsey car. Benfield also washed and vacuumed my car. I am very satisfied with the work carried out. Staff are very helpful.Mrs P Towers
a total relaxing and worry free experience
recently took my car to your Gateshead branch (Felling by pass) for an inquiry regarding a warranty issue.
Now, I have had good and bad experiences with Benefield over my 8 year relationship, mostly I have to say, was the latter of the two with regard to servicing and bad practice etc. Sales have always been excellent in this time frame I may add.
This time though, they exceeded my expectations, especially Keith on the servicing desk. The work was carried out, without question, on time and to my satisfaction. My car was washed and valeted inside, which I thought was a pleasant little surprise when I came to pick it up as it saved me a job!
I don't know if there has been a 'shake up' but, after my last visit, I can only recommend Benfield and hope this kind of service continues.
From initially buying my Nissan X trail from Benfield Motors the customer care and after sales service has been outstanding, I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Benfield Motors to friends and family, and will certainly be purchasing my next vehicle with them.
